It's here, arguably this years most anticipated game launch has arrived so it's time to find out if Cyberpunk 2077 VR / Cyberpunk 2077 in VR is possible... This is probably my most requested Will it VR episode ever & I worked all morning to try and get it working with no joy but then this afternoon an update for Vorpx dropped & it now works! Cyberpunk 2077 VR is real thanks to this Vorpx profile but Will it VR? and is it worth playing like this right now... let's find out! * PC SPECS - RTX 2080, i7 9700k & 32GB DDR4 RAM * TESTED NOW WITH OCULUS RIFT S ON MAX SETTINGS - 🤍 This Cyberpunk 2077 Vorpx profile is a work in progress, that's probably the most important thing to bear in mind when trying to experience some Cyberpunk 2077 VR mode / Cyberpunk 2077 VR gameplay for yourself. I have a pretty solid PC setup but to achieve desirable/playable results in Vorpx I needed to drop my graphics settings to medium (and then eventually all the way to low) to be able to enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 VR. It didn't look the prettiest but it didn't look BAD by any stretch of the imagination. Cyberpunk 2077 Vorpx headtracking was smooth after a little tinkering & it felt reasonably immersive once I was really into the action (gun fights feel particularly chunky & dangerous) but at the moment there is only Z Adaptive 3D & Z Normal 3D options in the Cyberpunk 2077 Vorpx profile which will be a deal breaker for many as although they offer depth & scale it isn't the true 3D experience & does throw up some strange graphical glitches. At this point I am blown away with the dedication & work with the guys at Vorpx (realistically probably one guy... looking at you Ralf) and I have no doubt that this profile for Cyberpunk will be an incredible & immersive way to play this game in VR after some further tweaks & changes. For now however I'd say experience it on a flatscreen with all the bells and whistles & then come back to Cyberpunk VR / Cyberpunk 2077 VR when the Vorpx profile has been fine tuned to perfection. FINALLY, the Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod has reached it's full potential when paired with an RTX 4090, my mind has officially been blown by this RTX 4090 Cyberpunk 2077 VR gameplay and I cannot wait to spend hundreds of hours in Nightcity! The Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod has been available for quite a while but it's been one of the most difficult VR mods to run due to Cyberpunk 2077s high demand on PC specs when it comes to achieving solid performance. I previously settled for medium to low graphics presets and a resolution of around 1640x1640 and STILL only got around 30-40fps in VR... but now thanks to the 4090 VR gameplay performance I can max everything out on 2432x2432 resolution and can achieve a far more stable and consistent framerate which could be improved even further with a little more tinkering! Cyberpunk 2077 is an INSANE VR experience on this new PC... I'll be running more RTX 4090 VR gaming tests over the next few weeks, please leave a comment down below if you'd like to see me test certain games or VR mods, I'm already keen to revisit the Resident Evil VR mods and performance hogs like Green Hell VR but feel free to recommend some more to me and I'll start working my way through them all. The Luke Ross R.E.A.L. VR mod does not work with the current version of the game, so rather than miss out on playing this absolutely amazing game, i'm just going to stream it using the VorpX VR Mod. NEW: FOV mod for cyberpunk2077: 🤍 It's fast and easy to play cyberpunk 2077 with vr view. What do you need? Cyberpunk 2077 & VorpX (And a vr system) Step 1: Create a custom resolution for windows via NVIDIA settings and choose one of the resolutions below (DO NOT go high if you don't have a very strong videocard, start with a LOW RESOLUTION and build up) 1280x752 1600x1401 2400x2160 *This is the resolution i used. 2560x1504 3200x1880 Step 2: Start VorpX, download mine or another profile for the game in VorpX (Make sure to check if the game's exe file is present in VorpX at local profiles) Step 3: Start the game, VorpX should attach to the game. Step 4: When the game has loaded, go to settings - video - anbd change the resolution in the custom resolution that you created. Step 5: Go to settings - graphics - and set FOV high. (Max is not high enough for perfect view) (Step 5: Feel free to adjust my profile to your preferences and please import it in vorpx's profile cloud.) Keep an eye out online for new useful mods & Graphic mods in order to make the vr view more perfect in the future. Fingers crossed for an actual VR mod or official VR conversion for the game someday! We already tried the rather cool Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod from developer Ralf using the standalone VorpX version. However, yesterday he updated the mod and VorpX to include motion control gesture support. Whilst it's not quite the same as having full motion control support, it does make the game feel far more immersive and closer to a proper VR title. In this latest update, players can gesture to melee attack or block with Swords etc. Gesture to hold rifles and pistols, grip steering wheels to drive vehicles and even hold handlebars to steer when on motorcycles. We tried this as you can see in our video and it works very well indeed. Hey guys n gals, cats n dogs Kind of a different video ^^; I recently installed the FREE to download VorpX developed VR mod for Cyberpunk 2077. At first I was hesitant to do so, as I had previously used the VorpX program itself with the Cyberpunk 2077 profile but that unfortunately only had Z-Depth VR, instead of Full 3D VR, which meant it looked kinda wonky. But, I thought to myself, it's free, what the heck, let's try it. And I AM IN LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN. I already love the game, despite some of the issues it still has, but in VR it just becomes so much more impressive to see all the detail the devs have put into the game. I am running it at 60 FPS roughly, sometimes 72, sometimes 40-50 for a bit. It's not ideal, there is some choppiness to it as ideally for VR you'd rather have 72+ at all times for a smooth experience, but regardless I've been absolutely stunned by the performance considering the graphical fidelity. The game is set to the lower settings so there's pop-in for distant objects, tho I assume if you had an RTX3090 you could crank those settings up to be higher for a vastly superior image quality. It is controlled via either kb/m, controller or your VR controllers their thumbsticks and buttons. There's no gestures or anything since that was obviously not built into the game. This doesn't bother me, I played through Alien: Isolation entirely with mouse and keyboard in VR, but some do find this bothersome. Just so you may wanna check it out yourself, you can download the mod here: 🤍 (you do NOT need VorpX for this. You do however need a beefy PC to run it somewhat smoothly) For reference I have the following PC hardware: i9 9900k 32GB RAM 3200MHz RTX3070 8GB Running it from an internal SSD Setup most settings in the game either low or medium. Now over a year later we finally have the Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod that many have been waiting for, a brand new Luke Ross REAL mod that pushes the huge Nightcity into full 3D with headtracking, HUDs adjusted for VR and an overhaul which makes the game feel like a native VR experience akin to something like Resident Evil 7 on PSVR (yes there are no motion controls, this is a controller experience or keyboard and mouse at a push). However Cyberpunk 2077 in VR is no slouch, to get this game running smoothly you'll need a fairly powerful PC that's running next to no other processes whilst playing, on my RTX 2080, i7 9700k & 32GB RAM system I can achieve around 60fps when just playing but only 35-40 whilst playing AND recording... It's no secret that I love VR mods, throughout 2022 the amount of amazing new VR games we''ve been able to play thanks to talented VR modders is mind blowing and the mods just seem to be getting BETTER with each passing week! However, after playing every VR mod I could get my hands on I've been thinking about ranking the BEST VR mods into my own little personal list. None of these mods are bad, they're all put together by incredibly passionate and talented people but some VR mods feel a little better suited to the virtual reality experience than others. With that in mind I'll be ranking the mods across three categories: - "Pretty Cool" (a fun experience that if played seriously is still best left to flat screen), - "Very Cool" (a nearly passable native VR experience, still in need of a little fine tuning) - "UNBELIEVEABLE" (a s close to native as you can get without actually being native, a truly awesome experience in VR).
